While there’s no true “reset” button, you can influence your Explore page by:
- Clearing search and watch history in Settings > Security > Clear Search History
- Using Instagram’s “Not Interested” option on unwanted posts
- Engaging only with content you actually want to see (the algorithm learns from your actual interactions)
- Waiting 7-10 days of consistent activity to shift recommendations
Instagram’s algorithm primarily learns from what you interact with, so meaningful engagement matters more than any single action.
